Lancashire Life
I was commissioned to write an article for Lancashire Life's May 2024 issue, interviewing, then drafting, and finalising the article in house style.
(Un)natural Selection
On 11th December 2024 at The Salutation, Manchester, Lexie Knight and I hosted an exhibition that explored the genre of body horror through multi-media aspects. Together, we wrote, starred in, filmed and edited a short film; curated a playlist of ambient music to play throughout; wrote poems and prose fiction and compiled all this into a printed pamphlet which was given away at the event. Class Structures in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
An academic essay on the ways class structures are represented and simulated in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, released in 2015. It explores the use of dialect and accent in dialogue, as well as character design and loot distribution.
